NOKANDUI
Compact onboard manufacturing module installed in a yacht workshop

Nokandui Workshop · Powered by Oyster

Make it. Fix it. Keep sailing.

A compact onboard manufacturing system giving Oyster owners the ability to produce selected accessories, fittings and approved replacement parts anywhere in the world.

Every yacht carries its own small digital spare parts factory.

The pitch

The Digital Spares Program

What if every Oyster carried hundreds of spare parts without carrying the parts? Nokandui Workshop transforms selected physical spares into a secure digital inventory that can be manufactured onboard, anywhere in the world.

Carry what you must. Print what you can. Keep sailing.

Nokandui Digital Parts Vault

Your yacht's own parts library.

Every Oyster gets its own account. Select a part and the system releases the verified print file and settings for exactly that component.

286 verified digital spare parts available onboard

Select a part to see its verified file, material and print settings.

Emergency Parts

Not FedEx. Not DHL.

No waiting for the next marina. When the part exists in the vault it is printed onboard. When it does not, our engineers design it ashore and send the CAD file to the yacht.

Crew photographing a broken bracket next to its freshly manufactured replacement

Something broke?

The crew photographs the broken component in the Nokandui app. Our AI proposes a match against your yacht's digital library.

Oyster Certified Parts

Not every part may be printed.

GREEN — PRINT ONBOARD

Print onboard

Non safety-critical components, verified and released for onboard manufacturing.

Clips, covers, holders, knobs, spacers, organisers and selected brackets.

AMBER — TEMPORARY REPAIR

Temporary repair

Approved as a temporary solution only. Print onboard, replace with the original Oyster part at the next service location.

Keeps the yacht sailing until an original part can be fitted.

RED — ORIGINAL PART ONLY

Original part only

The app never releases a print file for these components.

Rig, steering, engine, fuel, gas, fire, high-load structure, certain electrical systems and safety equipment.

Why Oyster

A new tool for Oyster After Sales.

The current Oyster fleet spans 515 to 885SII and is explicitly built around long-distance bluewater cruising.

Oyster After Sales already delivers everything from small components to complete rigs worldwide, and prepares individual spare parts lists for new yachts.

Oyster holds the engineering and build information for its yachts, including equipment and article numbers. Nokandui Workshop is therefore not a competitor to Oyster After Sales — it is a new tool inside it.

Oyster World Rally · Digital Spares Program

27,000 nautical miles as the pilot.

The Oyster World Rally covers roughly 27,000 nautical miles over 16 months, fully supported with technical support and logistics. Ten selected yachts are equipped with Nokandui Workshop — Oyster Edition, and everything is logged.

  • What breaks
  • What can be printed
  • Number of prints
  • Material consumption
  • Print time
  • Physical shipments avoided
  • Waiting time saved
  • New parts for the library

After 16 months Oyster and Nokandui hold a real dataset on what breaks, what can be manufactured onboard and how much waiting time is removed from ownership.

Connected to Custom Studio

A growing digital catalogue.

“I need a holder for my Starlink remote next to the navigation station.” Photograph the space, give the measurements or 3D scan it. Nokandui designs it, and the file appears under My Oyster → Custom Parts.

Starlink Remote Dock #001 — print

The next Oyster owner can then buy the same design when the installation is compatible.

Rollout

Oyster 595 first.

We start with the Oyster 595, then 675 and 745. Together with Oyster engineering we identify 100 printable parts per model.

Each part is tested: material → orientation → print profile → load → temperature → UV → saltwater → installation.
